The Monobloc is ideal for the Pharmaceutical industry since it is engineered to perform multiple tasks within a compact footprint. These systems can perform a wide range of tasks such as sorting, feeding, filling, plugging, stoppering, crimping, capping, induction sealing, labeling, and accumulating. Due to the extreme accuracy needed for the Pharmaceutical industry, the containers used for the Monobloc were typically small.
When approached with the task of filling containers with larger fill volumes, Filamatic decided that it would be a project well worth undertaking. Equipped with movable trolley assemblies, and a chuck-style capping system, the Monobloc filled containers ranging in sizes from 10mL to 1000mL, larger than the normal range of 0.5mL to 1000mL. This integrated packing system also included an unscrambling table for the round containers as well as a linear feed system that was customized for the square containers running on the same line.
All Filamatic Monoblocs are digitally controlled with menu-driven programs that electronically adjust operating parameters for quick and easy tool-less changeovers. A wide assortment of liquid products can be filled into an array of containers including microtubes, cryovials, glass vials, and plastic containers. An optional HEPA filtration system can also be incorporated to provide positive pressure airflow within the machine environment.
